  • How can I save?
  • IQnergy automatically manages the most powerful equipment in the building (ventilation, air conditioning, heating, lighting) and reduces power when possible without compromising the climate parameters in the building, for example, during nighttime or when external temperature and the number of people in the building allow using less ventilation, air conditioning, and heating. We also help to choose the optimal electricity tariff. If the payment for energy and capacity is separated, we can predict peak load hours, temporarily reduce the equipment's variable operating mode, and save on capacity fees.
  • Will IQnergy cause any harm to the equipment?
  • We connect to the equipment strictly according to the technology approved by the manufacturer. This allows us to maintain the warranty.
  • What if the automation malfunctions?
  • IQnergy rarely malfunctions: we strive to keep the system simple where possible. Nevertheless, we have three levels of protection against breakdowns: (1) communication channel reservation (each controller has at least 2 SIM cards from different cellular operators), (2) manual local control (on each IQnergy control unit), (3) 24/7 support.
  • Why do I need automation if I can manually control the equipment?
  • As a rule, even the most meticulous technician makes mistakes in manual control. We usually make several mode switches per day depending on the climate inside and outside the premises. To reduce the capacity fee, it is also necessary to monitor and predict the peak hours (on daily basis).
  • I already have a Building Management System (BMS), why do I need additional automation?
  • Unfortunately, the BMS systems from major vendors do not utilize all the energy saving possibilities. For example, they may not consider energy market rules and lack the ability to reduce prices or the capacity fees. IQnergy has a built-in mechanism to identify peak hours and reduce loads during the peak hours.
  • How does IQnergy differ from other building automation systems?
  • IQnergy is a service: our goal is not to sell equipment, but to achieve the results together with our clients, including energy savings and not only. We do not charge for equipment (only installation costs at the start), everything else is included in the subscription fee with minimal risks for the client. IQnergy provides maximum transparency of automation operation: energy consumption of the equipment we operate is measured in real-time, and the impact of automation can always be thoroughly examined. Unlike most building management systems, IQnergy takes into account the specifics of the electricity market, including the ability to reduce capacity fees.
